What best way to practice handpainting characters than marrying my love of anime and cyberpunk?
First started working on this cutie mid February 2019 through Dusty Nolting's mentorship on BrushForge, and after a bit of a break, I am extremely happy to be able to finally share her here :)
I had an absolute blast from start to finish, while also learning a ton from it. Can't thank Dusty enough for the absolutely amazing mentorship, and would wholeheartedly recommend anyone interested in it to give it a shot.
Since one of my main focus of this project was practicing handpainting, I've only used a sculpt as a base for retopo. Absolutely zero bakes used and every texture is completely flat. Also wanted to try learning more about blend-shapes so I've made a few facial expressions for her, with a quick and simple animation showcasing some of them.

Thanks for checking it out! <3
